Collateral Evidence: Documentation for Transparency
This page is not intended as a punitive measure; rather, it’s here to provide transparency for anyone reviewing my case. No one goes public with accusations against a former employer or individuals without firm, documented proof. This section offers supporting materials so that you can evaluate and form your own conclusions about what happened.
Since July 1, 2023, through November 11, 2024, I have reached out to Invited and other relevant parties multiple times—via email, phone, and text—offering ample opportunity to address the issues I’ve raised. While some points have been quietly acknowledged, there has been no meaningful action taken to rectify the wrongs done to me, the victim. In my view, without holding those responsible accountable, these issues remain unresolved.
I hired legal representation at my own expense and was prepared to proceed with arbitration, as outlined in my agreement upon rehire. However, after receiving dismissive responses from their defense attorneys at Ogletree Deakins, it became clear that my concerns weren’t being taken seriously. Their approach suggested either a reliance on legal technicalities to dismiss my case, misinformation from Invited to their attorneys, or simply an assumption that my claims would be easily deflected. This was a turning point.
At this stage, I decided to escalate my findings to the media, dismissed my attorney, and chose this public route to seek accountability. Despite everything, neither the company nor any individuals have filed suit against me—perhaps, in my view, to avoid the exposure of facts they cannot dispute. This stalemate has left me to push for transparency in other ways, as seen here. And if they want to sue me, go right ahead; I invite it.
Thank you for taking the time to review this material. I hope it provides clarity on the lengths I’ve gone to for truth and resolution.
Photo #1, submitted by Mamee to Maurice, was used to initiate an investigation against Jason. Metadata reveals the photo was actually taken on February 1, 2022—months before Jason was even hired on August 17, 2022. Maurice shared this photo with Jason on 12/12/23 during an antagonistic phone call, aiming to further discredit him. Jason later uncovered the metadata discrepancy, exposing the fraud behind this accusation. Mamee was subsequently allowed to "resign" after Jason reported this misrepresentation. This act of deception appears rooted in personal animosity, as it required a deliberate attempt to repurpose outdated evidence against Jason. Without this fraudulent claim, Jason would likely still hold his position, and Vivona would not have had grounds to pursue his own agenda.
Photo #2 was part of the same fraudulent narrative.
Basic Date Metadata #1: In early 2024, I revisited these photos because something seemed off. While examining an image showing a tub of red sauce that didn’t align with the Chef’s fridge setup during my tenure, I noticed the date at the top—it was taken long before I even started. Full metadata confirms this date and shows it was captured on Mamee’s iPhone, making it highly unlikely that it was sent to Maurice for any reason other than to defame me. This calculated action reflects a targeted attempt to undermine me and stands as clear evidence of her intent.
Basic Date Metadata #2.
Why Is This Okay?
Email me at jason@invitedtolie.com and explain to me why this is okay. I’m genuinely asking because this has been my lived experience for nearly a quarter of a century. Is this acceptable? I contend that what I’ve gone through isn’t just unethical—it’s illegal on a massive scale.
Now, imagine for a moment that instead of targeting me—a white male—this said, “Don’t hire black people.” Would there be outrage? Would there be swift accountability? Of course there would, and rightfully so. So why is it different in this case? Why is weaponized DEI allowed to destroy lives and careers without consequence?
If you believe in fairness, equity, and justice for everyone, then you should care about what I’m exposing here. Silence only perpetuates the problem. So, I ask again: Why is this okay?
Over the past year, I’ve invested considerable effort into researching whether my experience was isolated, validating my claims, and gathering material for my book—all while amplifying the voices of those who can’t speak out due to fear of retaliation. Take a listen... you decide.
